7 Stabbed to Death In Northeastern China

BEIJING: At least seven people were killed and seven other injured in knife attack in the northeastern city of Kaiyuan in Liaoning province of China.

Local media reports suggested that the killings took place near a bath house, and after receiving the alarm, the Kaiyuan Public Security Bureau Command Center quickly dispatched the police and arrested the suspect Yang Moumou in front of the Jinpusheng bath.

Officials said that at present, the incident has caused 7 deaths and 7 injuries (including a policeman who participated in the arrest of the suspect), and the injured have been sent to hospital for treatment.

It may be recalled that in June this year, a school security guard wielding a knife injured at least 39 people at a kindergarten in the southern region of Guangxi.
