Afghanistan: 1 Killed, 2 Injured As President’s DG Administrative Office Employees Targeted In Bomb Blast

KABUL: At least one person was killed and two injured in a stick bomb blast that targeted a vehicle in Chelson area of Kabul Thursday morning.

Local sources said the driver of the car died and two people injured in the explosion that took place earlier today.

Fazel Fazly, the Director General, Administrative Office of the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, confirmed that their office employees targeted this morning.

He said “two of our employees, Jawid Wali, deputy director of the advisory affairs department, and his driver, Haji Bahramuddin, were targeted by a magnetic mine.” He said the driver was killed and Wali was injured.
