RAWALPINDI: Two elderly citizens were injured when Indian forces resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling on Sunday, targeting civilian areas alongside Line of Control.
According to ISPR, Indian army troops resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation in Baroh and Khanjar Sectors along LOC deliberately targeting civil population with Mortars and automatics .
Due to Indian army indiscriminate fire, two elderly citizens of same family sustained injuries. The injured have been evacuated to nearby hospital for necessary medical treatment.
ISPR said that these are first two civilians casualties in this year . Indian troops have committed 38 ceasefire violations since Jan 1
