Several Indian Soldiers Dead and Unconscious In Pathankot Training Mishap

NEW DELHI: Several Indian soldiers were dead and unconscious, many of them critical, during a training activity at Mamun military station near Pathankot in Punjab on Saturday.

Visuals surfaced online from Pathankot training facility showed several Indian Army personnel lying unconscious, many of them (at least 9) declared dead, while more than 30 were hospitalised during the BPET training exercise.

Locals said Army soldiers collapsed due to heat stroke and exhaustion during the military training, resulting in a few deaths.
