UPDATE: 7 Civilians Injured In Indian Cease Fire Violation At LoC

MUZAFFARABAD: At least 7 people including 2 women injured when Indian forces resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling on civilian areas near Line of Control, Nakyal, Jandrot, and Goi sectors.

Information gathered from local sources revealed that Indian forces targeted civilian population alongside Line of Control, and pounded Lanjot, Dabsi, Dohri Sambal Glai and other areas at Nakyal and Jandrot sectors.

Four people identified as Zubaidi Bibi and Jamila Bibi, both residents of Dabsi, Sain Haleem resident of Chota Nar, and Sardar Muhammad Zaheer resident of Lanjot were injured as mortar shells fired by Indian forces hit their houses.

Zubaidi Bibi was rushed to Kotli district headquarters hospital while others were given medical treatment at tehsil headquarters hospital.

At Goi sector, Hari Dhara arae, 3 people identified as Muhammad Haleem, 60, and his two sons Junaid and Zeeshan were injured in Indian shelling. All of them were rushed to Kotli district headquarters hospital for treatment.

Pak forces, meanwhile, responded effectively and gave befitting reply to Indian aggression, silencing their guns.
