NEW DELHI: Several people, mostly lawyers, were injured in a bomb blast that took place at a Lucknow court on Thursday.
According to information gathered by the Regional Telegraph, the bomb went off at Lucknow collectorate in Hazratganj, near the district magistrate’s office which is located hardly a kilometer from the Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha.
Three persons were injured in the explosion, while one of them said to be in critical condition. Security personnel found 3 more live bombs from the court premises.
Locals present on the occasion claimed that the blast was result of a dispute between two groups of lawyers. The bomb blast is believed to be an attempt to attack a lawyer present in the court. Advocate Sanjeev Lodhi alleged that he was the target of the bomb attack which happened outside CJM Court of Lucknow.
