One Dead, 9 Injured In Quetta Blast

QUETTA: At least one person lost life while 9 others injured in a powerful explosion that took place on a busy road in Quetta Tuesday evening.
Eye witnesses said a police patrol van was the apparent target of the blast that occurred near a new bus terminal on double Road Quetta. Several bikes and vehicles were damaged, while the nearby market caught fire as a result of explosion.
Police, rescue workers and security forces rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area.

Initial information gathered by Regional Telegraph suggested that the vehicle of Rapid Response Group (RRG) was targeted in the explosion. An RRG Jawan identified as Khalil lost life, while 9 others including 4 RRG personnel were injured.
