4 Terrorists Killed In Peshawar CTD Operation

PESHAWAR: Four terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Regi area Friday night.

According to information made available, CTD team on a tip off raided Malagora area near Regi, outskirts of Peshawar.

Terrorists spotting the raiding party opened fire, which was returned effectively. In the ensuing encounter, four terrorists were killed who were later identified as Niaz Ali son of Saifur Rahman, resident of Budhni, Adnan son of Ismail resident of Landi Kotal Khyber, Jamil son of Sarzameen, resident of Dog Darra, Upper Dir and Aziz son of Shoaib resident of Dargai Malakand.

The CTD team recovered arms, ammunition as well as a suicide jacket from the encounter site. Further investigation is underway.
