SRINAGAR: Two Muslim labourers were killed and many other injured in a mysterious blast that took place inside a camp of Indian Army in Khundroo area of Achabal in Occupied Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday.
The Regional Telegraph has learnt that five labourers were working inside the army’s 21 FAD camp when the mysterious blast occurred in Khundroo area.
Soon after the blast, everyone was immediately evacuated to nearby MI room (military health facility) where two critically wounded namely Gulzar Ahmad Khan and Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, succumbed lost their lives.
After being operated upon, the doctors at MI room referred the other two injured, Fida Hussain son of Syed Mohd of Gopalpora and Shabir Ahmad son of Mohd Anwar Khan of Gopalpora, to Govt Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for specialized treatment.
Local Police confirming the incident said investigation was underway to determine the cause of the blast.
