Sindh CM Urges Masses For 3-Days Self Isolation

KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has urged upon the masses to go into self-isolation for next three days. This announcement came after the city of Karachi reported 51 cases of local transmissions and a Corona patient died with no travel history.

In a statement issued by his spokesman here on Friday evening, the Sindh CM chairing 23rd meeting of Corona Task Force was quoted as saying that it was imperative for all of us to remain indoor.

He was also quoted as saying that there were 151 Corona positive cases in Sukkur, and 87 cases elsewhere in the province (mostly Karachi). He said 22 Pilgrims from Lasbella had reached Karachi, received by DC West, who had shifted them to Malir Quarantine Center for necessary screening.

Elaborating the decision, Sindh Minister Saeed Ghani tweeted that there was no lockdown or curfew being introduced in the province, rather CM Sindh had appealed to the masses to remain indoor from March 21 to 23 holidays.
