Fearing For Life After Coronavirus Outbreak, MQM Target Killers Rush For Bail

KARACHI: More than 25 target killers affiliated with MQM London have applied for bail after reports of Corona virus outbreak in different jails of Pakistan.

In their bail applications submitted in Karachi’s Anti-Terrorism Court today, the target killers cited rising fears of Corona virus spread in jails, and requested that bail may be granted bail at the earliest.

Among those who have applied for bail include Faisal Mota (involved in murder of Karachi Journalist Wali Babar), Ubaid K-2 and others. Most of these target killers were arrested during Rangers’ raid at their Karachi Headquarters Nine Zero.

Several other cases including murder of LEAs personnel and terrorism are also pending against these criminals in different Courts. The Anti-Terrorism Court and the Singh High Court have already rejected their bail applications.

The ATC Karachi has summoned arguments from Special Public Prosecutors and others over the bail applications on April 9.

It is also pertinent to mention here that the Supreme Court had already restrained all courts from issuing release orders of prisoners taking advantage of Corona virus outbreak.
