Western Disturbance To Grip Pakistan By May 11

There are Upto 30-40% Chances of Drizzle / light Passing showers in Isolated areas of Karachi from 13-15th May

KARACHI: Moderate Western Disturbance is likely to Grip Pakistan by 11th of May (Late) to 17th May 2020 with (+/- 1 day error). Northern and Central areas of Pakistan can see increase numbers of Thunder Storms development / Thunder cells as well as scattered Hail Storm events.

According to Met Expert and YouTuber Jawad Memon, Sindh is likely to see light to moderate rainfall during this time; specially upper and central Sindh regions may experience low possibilities of Isolated Heavy Rainfall, while Southern and eastern Sindh can also see some localized Developments ( Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Thar and adjoining regions) from 211th May (Late) to 17th May 2020. Localized developments also possible over northern and eastern region nearby Karachi like bahria town, DHA CITY , Nooriabad regions.

Although mainly normal weather is expected in Karachi City for next 4-5 days , possibility of Developments over Northern, North Western and Eastern Region of Karachi cannot be ruled out. There are Upto 30-40% Chances of Drizzle / light Passing showers in Isolated areas from 13-15th May 2020 and specially on the night of 14th May.

Karachiites should expect partly cloudy to mostly cloudy weather for next 2-4 days with plenty of south west winds flow. Temps 34-36’c high with 24-26’c low

Rain / Thunder showers is expected in this region accompanied with Wind storms / hails storms over high altitude areas. Peshawer, Muzaffarabad, Gilgilt, Skardu Regions, kaghan regions, chitral and near by areas. Mainly from 11th May (Late) to 17th May 2020WATCH FOR URBAN FLOODING IN CITIES AND LOW LYING AREAS. WATCH FOR LANDSLIDES.

Rain / Thunder Showers are Expected over Many Parts of this Region at times heavy rains accompanied with strong thunder cells can also pop out with intense lightning events and Scattered Hail Storm events as well . (Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sarghoda, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Gujranwala and other nearby areas). Mainly from 11th May (Late) to 17th May 2020 WATCH FOR URBAN FLOODING IN CITIES AND LOW LYING AREAS.

—-BALOCHISTAN—-
Balochistan is likely to see lite to Moderate Downpours specially western regions ,Heavy Rainfall activity is also possible at Koh e Suleiman Regions Rain / Thunder showers in scattered areas as well as Thunder storms (over Upper and Western Parts) accompanied with Wind /Dust storms over high altitude areas regions (Zhob, Quetta, Sibbi, Khuzdar) from 11th May (Late) to 17th May 2020.
