Another Journo Shot Dead In Sindh

JACOBABAD: In a matter of few months, another journalist has been shot dead in Sindh, sending waves of panic among media workers.

According to details gathered by the Regional Telegraph, a local reporter Zulfiqar Mandrani working for Daily ‘Koshish’ newspaper was shot dead in Dodapura, near Jacobabad.

Police acted swiftly and arrested 2 suspects in connection with the murder of Mandrani. During initial investigation, one of the suspects, identified as Riaz Dayo, confessed to kill Mandrani ‘on matters of honor’.

Police claimed to have recovered weapon used in the murder of Zulfiqar Mandrani, and further investigation was underway.

It may be recalled that Aziz Memon, a journo from Sindh’s Mehrabpur, who got fame for exposing ‘rented crowd’ story for Bilawal’s train march, was killed and dumped in February this year.
