QUETTA: Heavy Rainfall reported from many parts of Balochistan including Quetta under influence of Western Disturbance. Met experts believe the current Western Disturbance has dumped heavy to isolated torrential rainfall in different parts of Balochistan, specially southern regions while moderate to isolated heavy rainfall along with moderate to isolated heavy snowfall reported from mountainous range of Northern Pakistan. Drizzle / very lite rain reported from few parts of Sindh as well.
Some areas across the province are now touching 70mm mark, showing accumulated rainfall in past 48 hours.
Locals from different areas including Dalbandin, Panjgur, Turbat and elsewhere reported up to 30 mm of rainfall today. It may be mentioned here that the annual average rainfall of Dalbandin is less than 50 mm and it is one of the driest stations in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, very good snowfall also reported from different areas of Northern Pakistan, whereas Kalaam received more than 2.5inch of snow while parts of Upper Dir received up to 4 inch of snow during last 24 hours.
