NAB Karachi Arrests 2 Partners-In-Crime of MQM’s Adil Siddiqui

KARACHI: In a major development, teams of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) have conducted raids in Defense and New Karachi areas and arrested 2 suspects, believed to be co-accused in crimes committed by MQM’s Adil Siddiqi.

According to information gathered by the Regional Telegraph, those arrested have been identified as Zahid Shah and Fazal Khan, involved in illegal purchase of plots in Small Industries Zone in collusion with Adil Siddiqi.The accused failed to appear before NAB despite being summoned repeatedly, after which their non-bailable arrest warrants were issued by the Accountability Court.

It is pertinent to mention here that MQM’s Adil Siddiqi had already left Pakistan, while NAB’s teams had conducted raids at his residence in Gulistan Jauhar just yesterday and gathered information as well as recorded some statements from those present on the occasion.

MQM’s former provincial minister Adil Siddiqi is nominated as accused in Reference No 6/2020, while Accountability Court had already issued his non-bailable arrest warrants.
