SHC Issues Notice On Petition Seeking Permanent Disqualification Of CM Sindh

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court on Saturday issues notice to Advocate General Sindh for Aug 27 on a petition seeking to permanently disqualify Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah.

The petitioner has made CM Sindh, Election Commission of Pakistan, Chief Secretary and the provincial election commissioner as respondent on grounds that Murad Ali Shah was disqualified on May 2, 2013 by the Supreme Court of Pakistan, yet he contested by elections from Jamshoro, and 2013 and 2018 elections.

The petitioner prayed that the CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah be disqualified permanently.
