Neelum Valley: Boy Martyred, Several Injured in Indian CFV

Locals unable to move dead and injured to hospital due to Indian shelling

 ISLAMABAD: A 10 year boy lost life while at least 12 people injured Thursday evening when Indian forces resorted to heavy shelling on villages near Line of Control.

Latest reports from Neelum Valley’s Shardan, Dodhanyal and Changan suggest a 10 year old boy Faizan lost life, while 9 others including 3 family members of Faizan were injured in fresh violation of ceasefire by Indian forces.

Locals say they couldn’t shift the dead and the injured to hospital due to heavy shelling which was continuing till the filing of this report.

Several houses were also damaged in these villages which were being deliberately targeted by Indian forces using heavy arms.

Casualties in Neelum Valley on Oct 10

Earlier, three people, including 13 year old Zahira, 15 year old Sughra and 55 year old Ajmal got injured as a result of intense shelling by Indian forces at Sathowal Sector. The injured were shifted to Hajira hospital for immediate treatment.

At least two houses were also damaged in Titrinote area near Line of Control, while livestock in the village also sustained damaged.
