Supreme Court Constitutes High Powered Commission To Utilize Bahria Town Funds

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has constituted a high powered commission for the purpose of utilizing funds being deposited by Bahria Town.

In its verdict issued here on Tuesday, the SC said after carefully considering the CMAs and rival submission, the court was of the view that disbursement of funds should be in the hands of a high powered commission to be headed by chairman and having five voting members permanently residing in Sindh with no political affiliation, and six non voting members.
