Pakistan Records Highest Corona Positivity Ratio Of 7.46%: NCOC

ISLAMABAD: The NCOC situational session is currently under progress with Fedreal Minister Asad Umar in the chair. Federal Minister education attended the session while provincial representatives joined NCOC morning session through video link.

The NCOC was apprised that Pakistan records Highest Covid-19 positivity ratio today which was 7 .46 %, while in other federating units, AJK 11.45 %, Balochistan 7.73 %, GB 5.23 %, Islamabad 8.09 %, KP 9.85 % Punjab 3.95 %, Sindh 9.63 %.

Punjab
Major positive cases are in Rawalpindi, Multan, Lahore and Faisalabad
Sindh
Karachi and Hyderabad have more cases
KP
Peshawar, Abbottabad and swat have more no of cases.

Similarly Mirpur in AJK, Gilgit and Islamabad are having more cases
2155 Covid patient admitted in hospital . The no of critical patients have increased two folds since last 2 weeks.

On average 35 people lost lives during last week, 19 % cases are from education sector. Positivity ration in educational institutions increase from 1.8 % to 3. 3 % during last one week which is actually 82 % increase
